Year 1 Project: Gyroid Soundproof
A colony for honeybee in urban context. Research based on sensitivity of bees to wavelength and vibration from sound. Honeybees communicate to each other using their whole body and the attena to receive sound vibration. This project explore the impact of urban noise pollution on wild life and presents a habitation solution to protect animals from human activities.
Year 1 Project:
Reincarnation Womb
This project captivate a spiritual essence in Yoko Ono's work and translate it to a meditation room through unique spatial experience. The original beach box is redesigned into a meditation room. Each element in the dark and enclosed space advocates the characteristic of Zen Buddhism practice such as mindfulness and the philosophy of rebirth.
